Michael Mamarella

Michael Mamarella is the founder of Madison Valley, a digital media and technology consulting firm that helps advertisers, agencies and publishers leverage  Mar-tech and Ad-Tech to improve their businesses. With one foot firmly planted on Madison Avenue and the other in Silicon Valley, Michael brings his clients a unique depth of hands-on experience from a decade in programmatic and  audience-based buying having deep experience working at both Omnicom’s and WPP’s media technology practices.

Prior to founding Madison Valley, Michael was a Managing Director with Accuen, Omnicom’s internal trading desk. During his tenure at Accuen, Michael led the data-driven planning movement at Omnicom, crafting the strategy and managing client media portfolios for Carnival, Pepsi, Visa, Lowes, GSK, Enterprise and Luxottica. 

Prior to joining Omnicom, Michael was the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Media Innovation Group, a WPP company. He orchestrated digital media and technology solutions for major brands, such as Wynn Resorts, Dollar Shave Club and Strayer University. During that time, in what was the beginning of an increasingly complex media technology environment, Michael and his team cut through siloed data to provide advertisers with new insights into the value of every consumer media touchpoint. These client wins followed Michael’s internal leadership role for 24/7 Real Media’s Global Web Alliance, where he and his team more than doubled 24/7’s reach in the US and Canada. During Michael’s tenure, 24/7’s offering became one of the largest independent reach vehicles in North America.
